Solid Surface is a pore-free solid surface. A low maintenance material that is used for surfaces such as countertops.
It can mimic the appearance of granite, marble, stone and other naturally occurring materials and can be bonded together almost invisibly by a trained craftsman.
Solid Surface can be cast in different shapes. However, it can also be heated and bent into three-dimensional shapes using a process called thermoforming, adding to the versatility of the product.
Color and design flexibility are key factors when choosing Solid Surface over natural stone.
A main attraction of Solid Surface is its impermeability.
Solid surface sinks can be seamlessly connected to the worktop so that no water can collect and no bacteria can grow.
Integrated upstands can also be produced, which adapt seamlessly and without gaps to the wall contours.
If the material is scratched or broken, Solid Surface can be repaired in most cases.
Slight scratches on non-colored surfaces can also be easily removed with fine sandpaper.
The installed product is available in different finishes, from matte to high gloss.
However, we recommend a matte or satin finish to make maintenance easier.
Thanks to its slim shape, the patented click siphon makes it possible to install free-hanging washbasins and base units on the wall without cutouts.
